everyday joys.

so, I’m upset. yup, not happy. not happy with our current president, not happy with our current senate and house, and definitely not happy with our foreign politics. yeah, I’m upset that Obama gives “freedom of religion” to Muslims, and defends the plans to build a mosque just a few blocks away from ground zero, but he can’t sign the letters to the Boy Scouts of America for receiving their Eagle Scout because it is a Christian organization. I’m also upset that the Obama administration has decided to put a 6 month offshore drilling moratorium, because that what Obama decided to do. this is going to cost hundreds of thousands of people their jobs, not to mention their families!

wake up people, Obama isn’t a king and he for sure isn’t a savior. why is he being allowed to run rampant with control? where are our checks and balances? oh, I’ll tell you where they are; they don’t exist because the control lies with the liberals in the Senate and the House, and with a ring leader like Pelosi, all liberal agendas have free reign. so, wait, what did I just say? the power lies with Pelosi? yeah, a lot of it does, but only because we’ve put her there. wait, what was that? oh yeah, the REAL power? it lies with the American people. people like you, people like me, people like the guy across the street. 

so…now that you have some information, whether you choose it as good or bad information, what will you do with it? the responsibility for your country (yes, your country.) is staring right back at you through this screen. you can choose to ignore it as “just another piece of information” that is so prevalent in this information driven age, or you can choose to accept the responsibility and get out and do something about it, like me.

I am just your average college student, trying to pay her way through college. if I care enough to be informed and to get out there and take action, shouldn’t you? if my generation doesn’t step up to the plate, who will?
