everyday joys.

after about an hour and a half of watching talentless preteens auto-tune their way through their “official music videos” my brain has sunken to a new low. which doesn’t happen very often, but its the price i pay to know who the next big thing is gonna be..and let me tell you, none of these kids are it.

i am in desperate need of some real music. so, i’m listening to miranda lambert. oh, definitely saw her at the houston livestock show and rodeo on wendesday! she puts on SUCH a great concert! i’ve never seen her in concert, or even been to a country music concert. i was very impressed and can’t wait to go to another one! 

my friends, tara and dean, went with me and mi padre. we got to see pretty much every farm animal in baby form! and in the words of dean hargis, “lambs are legit!” i think he liked them. :] tara let me borrow her frickin awesome snakeskin boots. i wasn’t sure if i liked them when i first saw them, but i should have known to trust in tara’s sense of style cause they grew on me by the end of the night and i didn’t want to give them back! 

as of now, the back of my legs are RUHdiculous. yesterday my friend andrew and i went to the beach and i’m pretty sure i fell asleep on my stomach cause the back of my legs are still exuding heat. but overall, it was a successful trip. we even drew an alien in the sand!

so far, even though its coming to a close, spring break 2011 has been a success. i’ve spent time with the people that matter most to me and i’ll even walk away with a tan. HECKyes. thank you Jesus for breaks and chances to refresh. :]

now, back to dumb school on monday. hooray?
